In the midst of a tense national and international news cycle, it's refreshing to find moments of joy, creativity, and celebrating the simple pleasures of everyday life.
Enter Sam Barsky
Once a quiet champion of creativity, now a viral superstar of knitting, Sam Barsky has risen to fame this week for his amazing (like really amazing) sweaters. Featuring the many places he's traveled and the pastimes he enjoys, Sam's 103-and-counting sweaters not only act as souvenirs of his whereabouts, they also serve as a gentle reminder to embrace our creative spirit, try something new, and share it with our friends, family, and neighbors.
And the best part? We don't have to imagine what landmarks these sweaters are featuring. Instead, Sam does that for us, by visiting each location in the featured sweater and photographing the experience.
