Creating partnerships that give people a voice MASSCreative also identified new programming to give even more people opportunities to connect and express themselves creatively.
The new Community Podcast Lab with Futuro Media Group works with local Boston storytellers to create multimedia journalism. This program trains participants of color who have no prior formal experience in public media to create locally and nationally distributed podcasts. According to Futuro, their partners on the project: “The lab is going to make it possible to hear stories from all different communities, to share them respectfully… and connect these neighborhoods with others across the city.”
